Booking the IPA

To book The IPA event space, contact our Event Space Coordinator, Nichole French, at 816-287-0294 or email nichole@transparentbrewing.com. She’ll check availability and walk you through our easy Kansas City event rental process.
Most private event rentals in Kansas City are reserved at least 30 days out. Booking with advance notice guarantees your preferred date for any party, meeting or celebration at our brewery venue.

A $500 rental fee is required upfront to secure your event date. This rental fee serves as your deposit and is refundable up to 6 weeks from your event.
Food and beverage package balances are due two weeks before your event at our brewery venue and will be invoiced separately from the rental deposit fee.
Your IPA event package includes use of our tables, black tablecloths, chairs, AV equipment, accessible parking, on-site restrooms, setup/tear down time, and access to our green space and lawn games (weather permitting)—everything for a seamless Kansas City brewery event.
Decorations, decorating service, custom layouts, and food/drink packages are extra. The $500 rental covers the venue; food and beverages are added based on your chosen options.

Choose from three taco bar packages and a burrito box, all house-made. Each offers a mix of protein options, toppings, and sides—perfect for group events at our venue.
Pick from craft beer packages, house bar, premium bar (beer, wine, spirits), non-alcoholic drinks, drink tickets, or a cash bar. All options feature our local craft beer made right here at our brewery in Grandview, MO.
To ensure food safety and maintain our craft brewery standards, Transparent Brewing Company provides all food and beverage services for events at The IPA. This policy allows us to guarantee the quality and freshness of everything served while supporting our local brewing operation. Outside desserts are permitted with a $50 per-item service fee, allowing you to include special birthday cakes, wedding desserts, or specialty cookies in your celebration. This arrangement ensures seamless service while accommodating your most important custom touches.

Our event space rental includes a large dog-friendly outdoor green space and lawn games, weather permitting—perfect for Kansas City event venue parties with a relaxed vibe.
Decor Restrictions: To protect our space, glitter, confetti, silly string, paint, and "difficult-to-sweep" items are strictly prohibited. Please use only non-damaging materials for decor; tacks, nails, and adhesive hooks (including Command hooks) are not allowed.
A minimum $100 cleaning/repair fee will be charged for any violations.
You’ll have access before your event for setup and after for teardown, with timing coordinated by our event space manager.
